A place of history, tradition, and natural beauty. Agios Pavlos, only 25 minutes by car from the city of Chania, is a picturesque village in the centre of Apokoronas Peninsula, close to the villages of Vamos and Douliana. Although it is a rural village, Gavalohori has good amenities for visitors, including taverns, cafés, a bakery, a mini market, and various stores. The village is very close to the magnificent beach of Almyrida and other sandy beaches. The surrounding area, is equally interesting. The nature around the village is wonderful. You can make unforgettable walks in the footpaths around Gavalohori, in scenic landscapes of olive trees, carobs and bushes of herbs, while the historical monuments promise to indulge even the most demanding visitors.
