As you review our trip descriptions please keep in mind that many of the described activities are suggestions and represent only an example of the many alternatives from which we can help you choose. At the end of each day's description, we highlight the pre-packaged meals and activities, included in the price of your tour. Please note that optional activities, as described below, are not included in the price of the tour.

DAY 1, Arrive in Athens

Welcome to Greece! If you're arriving at the Athens airport today, you'll be met by your TrueGreece Concierge, who will assist you with transportation to your first night's hotel, the Electra Palace. This deluxe hotel sits in the shadow of the Acropolis and is centrally located in one of the most inviting areas of the city, Plaka. After you're settled, take advantage of our customized recommendations and head out to explore Kolonaki, with its fancy stores, elegant restaurants and quaint cafes.

You can also meander through the Monastiraki market or get your first glimpse of the rich history of the country by visiting the impressive National Archaeological Museum. If you have not taken our TrueAthens tour supplement before our TrueElegance trip, this would be the perfect time for you to explore the Acropolis, and admire the beauty of the most famous Greek landmark, the Parthenon. Meet your Concierge back at the hotel in the late afternoon for a guided walk through the ancient city streets of charming Plaka, ending at a traditional local taverna for a welcome dinner.

DAY 2, Sail to Paros

Board a morning ferry boat for Paros, the island famous in antiquity for its fine marble, which provided the raw material for wonderful statues such as the Venus di Milo, today featured at the Louvre. Enjoy the breathtaking Mediterranean vista as you journey to the heart of the Cyclades Islands. You'll arrive at the port of Parikia on Paros in mid-afternoon.

Check into the exquisite Astir of Paros Hotel, a 57-room boutique beachside resort modeled after a historic Cycladic village and nestled between the Mediterranean waves and a beautiful tropical garden. Relax at the Monastiri or Kolibithres beach, or visit the island's main settlements for your first glimpse of life on a Greek island. For dinner, your Concierge can help you with a reservation for a gourmet meal, complete with an open sea view and the sound of waves lapping against the pier.

DAY 3, Paros

Rich in both history and natural beauty, Paros awaits exploration! In the morning, join your Concierge and a local guide on a trip to the magnificent Ekatontapyliani (Hundred Gate) Church, one of the earliest marvels of Christian architecture. Later that day, you can venture off on your own and explore the charming fishing village of Naousa or visit the impressive archaeological museum at Parikia - adorned with Parian marble statues and exhibits from all periods of antiquity. That night, we suggest casually feasting on traditionally prepared Greek cuisine at one of many seaside tavernas.

DAY 4, Paros

Today is yours to enjoy in any number of wonderful ways! Take full advantage of your Concierge's local knowledge and plan a day tailored to your personal interests. You can visit the mountainous traditional village of Lefkes or take a day trip to the neighboring, secluded Antiparos island, the idyllic hideaway of Hollywood movie stars. Of course, the option of swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying a range of water sports at the stunning Paros beaches is also an enticing option. Whatever you choose, just make sure to be back in time for a dinner at Naousa with Greek mezedes - don't worry if you don't know what that means yet: there's lots we'll teach you along the way!

DAY 5, Off to Mykonos

This morning, board a short ferry to Mykonos, where you'll check into the spectacular Saint John Resort, featuring breathtaking views of the Aegean and its own private beach. Mykonos is rich in history and culture, offering much to see and plenty to learn. You can head off to the main Mykonos Town and stroll through the picturesque white-washed lanes, or visit the famous windmills and churches. This evening you'll enjoy a gourmet dinner at the St John restaurant. Afterwards, head out and experience the island's rich nightlife. Your Concierge will be happy to recommend a variety of bars and clubs, suited to your particular tastes.

DAY 6, Mykonos

In the morning, join your Concierge and a local guide on an educational, unforgettable daytrip to nearby Delos Island, where you'll visit ancient ruins of the 7th century BC, and learn about the area's history from a local guide. Delos, mythological birthplace of Apollo and a sacred and commercial center of ancient Greece, is one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece. The afternoon is yours to hit one of Mykonos' spectacular sandy beaches or continue to explore the island.

DAY 7, Mykonos

Today is open to you to enjoy in a variety of unique and memorable ways! Visit the archaeological, folklore, or maritime museums. Snack at a lively seaside cafe. Swim or simply relax at yet another of the island' s remarkable beaches. Whatever you do, just make sure you make it back in time for a dinner we've arranged for you in one of the island's renowned traditional tavernas! That night, if you're up for it, join your Concierge for a fun-filled night on the town.

DAY 8, Mykonos

By now, Mykonos has become comfortably familiar, but there's still plenty more to experience. Return for a farewell visit to the Mykonos Town, visit "Little Venice", and shop at the island's bustling market, featuring a collection of stores, ranging from souvenirs shops to designer boutiques and jewelry shops. That evening, indulge in one more great night out - return to your favorite restaurant, bar or club, or adventure out to try something new!

DAY 9, Back to Athens

Board a ferry back to Athens, where you'll return to the Electra Palace Hotel for one last memorable day. In the afternoon, join your Concierge for a visit to Kifissia, a beautiful suburb of Athens, offering high-end shops, cafes, and picturesque tree-lined streets. Finally, we've saved the best for last - celebrate the end of your amazing and authentic journey with a farewell dinner. Share memories with new-found friends as you're sersved a marvelous variety of gourmet Greek dishes.
